Lo Yi Fan
This photo was shot when a few policemen (the phrase in the back of his vest “警察” means “police officer” in Chinese) interrupted a performance of my friend’s band. The gig was held for free in front of a Japanese bar at night, which located in a residential district. A large number of young dudes gathered, and the set was in a super uproar. After 3 or 4 songs had been played, all of a sudden there came a group of cops. They asserted the gig had to be called off because it made too much noise and wasn’t legally registered in advance. No one was willing to give in at first. However, to prevent that it might incurred something bad to the bar’s business, the band decided to suspend the show. After the cops left, the band played one more song at the audience’s request. The annoying cops showed up again, and everyone broke up in a hubbub.

THANK YOU LO YI FAN. #
